Rain Falls is a short film that uses lovable raindrop characters to contrast the memorable and important moments in life with how ephemeral life is.
Rain Falls
Process

World Building
One day it was raining in Pittsburgh, as usual, and I wanted to capture how I was feeling in this project.

I was inspired by the mood of how I felt from rain and characters I liked to create my main character, Raindrop Boy.

The Story in a Beat
I first started with writing the script, the Beat, of the entire story I had envision, the Rhythm.

Storyboard & Feedback
Writing it out helped make the storyboarding process much easier, and I was able to communicate my vision through visuals quicker.
